Liveops appointed to Military Spouse Employment Partnership program
Liveops is pleased to announce its appointment to the Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) program in October 2021. This partnership is a progressive step in providing flexible work-at-home opportunities to military spouses across the United States, who currently face a 24% unemployment rate despite being highly skilled and experienced. Providing access to remote earning opportunities to military spouses has a positive impact on the economy while supporting active military services.
MSEP, a targeted recruitment and employment solution, creates employment connections that provide companies with access to military spouses seeking career opportunities, and spouses with direct access to businesses who are actively recruiting. MSEP currently has more than 500 partners, who have hired more than 180,000 military spouses.
“Offering our military community flexible opportunities to become small business owners through our partnership with MSEP adds an important piece to Liveops Impact Sourcing initiatives,” says Tricia Chinappi, Liveops Marketing Director.
“We believe that our commitment to bring meaningful opportunities to communities that may have limited prospects for work helps address some of the challenges military spouses may face. Relocate frequently to new bases or need time off to spend with family on leave? Liveops remote opportunities offer the freedom and flexibility to keep working around these very real things in their lives, fulfilling a need not often available with traditional employment.”
The military spouse and veteran segments of the workforce are not new to Liveops. For more than 20 years, Liveops has brought flexible opportunities to independent contractors who may need to work remotely, or require a schedule that doesn’t fit a traditional 8-hour workday. Liveops military spouse independents agents who have provided services for Liveops across relocations and deployments enjoy the chance to be their own boss, leverage their existing skillset, and help others, while balancing the needs of their personal lives.
