Liveops Agent Spotlight: Jolene – Spreading Positivity and Making an Impact

Some people naturally uplift those around them, and Jolene, the newest Agent of the Month winner, is a perfect example. From the moment she joined the medical transportation program, she embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive attitude that has inspired both fellow agents and program leaders.

Finding the Right Fit with Liveops 

Jolene may be new to Liveops, but she’s no stranger to customer service. With 37 years of experience in the industry, she’s always had a passion for helping others. Her journey into remote work began in 2008 when she was laid off during an economic downturn. Determined to find a way to continue her career in customer service, she discovered work-from-home opportunities—and hasn’t looked back since. 

“It helps with social anxiety, and I get to do what I love—helping people—while being in the comfort of my own home,” she shared. “Being my own boss and setting my own hours was something I never realized I needed until I had it.” 

Making a Difference Through Service 

Currently, Jolene provides services for a medical transportation provider, helping individuals arrange rides to and from essential medical appointments. The impact of this work is something she deeply values. 

“Some of these are life-sustaining trips,” she said. “It’s rewarding to know that I’m playing a role in helping people get the care they need.” 

Beyond the meaningful nature of her work, Jolene also appreciates the sense of community within the program. “The program managers, ARAs, and fellow agents make this experience even more amazing. They truly are the best!” 

Keys to Success as an Independent Contractor 

Jolene knows that working from home comes with its own set of challenges, but she has one piece of advice for those looking to thrive: self-discipline is everything. 

“It can be easy to get distracted when working from home, but staying focused is key. The only way to fail is to quit,” she emphasized. 

Sweet Treats and Stronger Motivation 

When she’s not providing top-tier service, Jolene has one guilty pleasure she simply can’t resist—a warm chocolate brownie covered in sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream. “I can never say no when I get a sweet tooth moment,” she laughed. 

But what truly drives her isn’t dessert—it’s her family. “My kids are my biggest inspiration. Watching them grow into hardworking young adults and seeing them take the values I’ve taught them into their own lives is something I’m incredibly proud of.”
