Agent Spotlight: Lisa – Stepping Up with Service and Heart

Every month, a talented agent in our network goes above and beyond—not just meeting expectations, but raising the bar for what customer support can be. This month, that person is Lisa, recognized for her outstanding performance supporting a national client through our Shared Services program. 

Over the past six months, Lisa has consistently maintained a 95%+ commit rate. She actively participates in team sessions, offers guidance to others in community channels, and leads with positivity in every interaction. Her deep product knowledge, calm demeanor, and genuine care shine through in every call she takes. 

A Career Built on Connection 

Lisa began her journey in November 2023, but you’d never know she’s only been at it for just over a year. “I feel like I’ve been here longer, because I’m so comfortable and happy,” she shared. 

Her roots in remote work go all the way back to 1990, when she launched a home-based business representing office furniture and cabinetry manufacturers. That role required frequent travel across the country—but also laid the foundation for the discipline she brings to her current business. 

From there, Lisa sharpened her skills in call center environments from 2011–2016 before eventually discovering this opportunity online. “I didn’t know what I was applying for, but I took a chance. I’m so glad I did,” she said. 

Bringing Professionalism and Positivity to Every Call 

Currently supporting Shared Services, Lisa is a standout example of what it means to show up prepared. Her personal motto? “Be ready.” 

“I picture myself like a morning show host. The director’s counting down—3, 2, 1—and I’m on,” she explained. “That energy helps me be present, no matter what kind of call I’m taking.” 

Years of experience have taught her the power of listening. “You learn to stop talking and truly hear the person on the other end. That’s how you build trust—even in just a few minutes.” 

From emergency response overflow to insurance inquiries to product support, Lisa brings empathy and connection to every interaction.  

Life Beyond the Headset 

When she’s not providing customer support, Lisa finds joy in the little things—especially chocolate ice cream and dark chocolate treats. 

She draws inspiration from her grandmother, Pearl, who raised Lisa and her brother on a small Kentucky farm. “We didn’t have much, but we had everything we needed to live a good life,” Lisa reflected. Pearl’s love and strength continue to influence Lisa’s life today, especially in the way she connects with others. 

The Heart of a Storyteller 

Lisa’s favorite travel memories come from peaceful fishing villages along the Pacific coast of Ecuador—places like Playa de Los Frailes and Santa Marianita. She’s also a fan of thoughtful storytelling across all media, with favorites including The Way We Were, Ted Lasso, and To Have and Have Not. 

If her life had a soundtrack, it would include timeless, heartfelt tracks like What the World Needs Now Is Love, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and Set Fire to the Rain. 

And if she could have lunch with anyone? Lisa would choose to sit between Eleanor Roosevelt and Elizabeth Taylor—absorbing their wisdom, courage, and unapologetic individuality. 

Looking Ahead 

Whether she’s supporting a customer, mentoring a peer, or lifting the spirits of those around her, Lisa brings empathy, professionalism, and a human touch to everything she does.
