Maynard Webb
Chairman and CEO
As Chairman and CEO, Maynard brings almost 30 years of experience developing and leading high-growth companies to his role at LiveOps. He joins LiveOps most recently from eBay where he served as Chief Operating Officer. At eBay, Maynard directed engineering and technology operations, product development, customer support, trust and safety, global billing, human resources, and legal functions. Prior to eBay, Maynard was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Gateway, Inc. He has also held management and leadership positions at Bay Networks, Quantum Corporation, Thomas-Conrad Corporation and IBM. A respected member of the Silicon Valley technology community, Maynard sits on the boards of several successful companies, including Salesforce.com and Admob. Carla Diez-Canseco
VP of Human Resources
Carla is responsible for developing strategies and programs that enable LiveOps to recruit, cultivate, and retain top talent ensuring that LiveOps remains one of the best places to work in the industry. Carla comes to LiveOps with more than 20 years of human resources experience managing global companies. She joined LiveOps after serving most recently as senior director of human resources for FP International, a privately held manufacturer of packaging products and systems. Prior to that Carla held management and director positions during her 12 years at Guidant Corporation, where she led the HR organization in a $1B division with 6,000 employee. Later, she oversaw the seamless transition of HR policies and programs during Guidant's acquisition by Abbott Vascular, a division of Abbott Laboratories. Carla holds a Master of Human Resources Management & Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
Joe Eandi
General Manager and SVP of Community
Joe is responsible for the company's fast growing enterprise agent business and its industry-leading independent agent community. Prior to his current position, he served as the Company's General Counsel and head of government relations. Joe has been an integral part of key initiatives that have fueled company growth and define its culture. For instance, Joe was the General Manager of the division that launched the company's SaaS call center solution. Today, he is the executive lead of the LiveOps Foundation. Prior to joining LiveOps, Joe worked at Inktomi Corporation in a variety of legal positions, most recently as Inktomi's general counsel. Before Inktomi, Joe was a corporate attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Joe serves on the Board of Directors of a private corporation and a non-profit organization. Joe earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
Matthew Fisher
SVP and GM of Direct Response
Matthew is responsible for sales, business development, and client services for LiveOps Direct Response business unit. Matthew has been with LiveOps since 2003 and until recently was responsible for the successful deployment of customer projects as VP of Client Services. Prior to LiveOps, Matthew worked with the core LiveOps engineering team at Netscape, developing its Internet browser. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Math from the University of California at Davis.
Thomas Jameson
SVP of Enterprise Sales
Thomas is responsible for the continued growth of the company’s sales division. Thomas brings more then 20 years of experience formulating selling strategies and mapping those back to overall corporate direction. Prior to LiveOps, he served as VP, Americas, for Nuance Communications, where he was in charge of all field sales for the company's enterprise communications products. Before Nuance, Thomas spent 11 years in the North America Enterprise sales division at Genesys Telecommunications, most recently as VP, where he was responsible for 35 percent of the company's overall revenue and consistently performed over projections year-over-year. Thomas holds a degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Jeremy King
EVP of Technology and Products
Jeremy is responsible for the continued growth and success of the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. Jeremy joined LiveOps from eBay where he was the leader of the Architecture and Engineering teams responsible for the eBay Trading platform. In his seven years at eBay, Jeremy drove the complete redesign and rebuild of the eBay architecture, site and backend systems. He was responsible for choosing the new development platform and in charge of feature delivery for now one of the world's most heavily trafficked Java platforms. His team grew from 30 to well over 300 and delivered some of eBay's most critical features like international expansion, PayPal integration and dozens of other trading features. Previously Jeremy was the CTO of Petopia.com, held management and technical roles in web development at Bay Networks and SynOptics Communications. Jeremy has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from San Jose State University and is still active with the College of Business and Management Information Systems department.
Paul Lang
SVP of Product Management and Marketing
Paul is responsible for spearheading the strategy, initiatives and operations relating to the LiveOps On-Demand Contact Center Platform, as well as leading the company’s enterprise product team. Paul’s distinguished career spans over 20 years of management experience in the contact center and telecommunications industries. He joins LiveOps after 3 years at Genesys where he was head of product strategy and product management for the company. Prior to Genesys, Paul spent 10 years at Aspect where he held executive management positions in Product Management and Engineering. Previously, Paul held various senior management positions at the Cable and Wireless Group and NatWest Bank in the United Kingdom. Mr. Lang holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Business and Marketing from South Bank University, London, England.
Leonard Palomino
GM of SaaS and SVP of Client Services
Leonard is responsible for strategic initiatives within the SaaS marketplace as well as the success and growth of the client roster. Leonard brings 25 years of experience in the software and service industry to his position at LiveOps. Before joining the company, Leonard was the EVP of Operations for iSmart Panache Inc., a Silicon Valley-based startup focused on providing IT services to the high technology marketplace. During his tenure there, Leonard played an instrumental role in developing, evolving and delivering on the company's vision of "next generation" outsourcing — an extended services model with international delivery capabilities. Leonard has held C-level and senior management positions at Greenplum, Saama Technologies, InfoGain Corporation, Informix Software, Century Analysis Inc., and CBS Inc.
Bill Slakey
Chief Financial Officer
Bill brings more than 20 years of experience improving company and financial operations at technology companies both public and private. Bill has served as Chief Financial Officer for Extreme Networks, a provider of enterprise and carrier switching products, where he played an important role in the company's return to profitability and led Extreme's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program. He was also Chief Financial Officer of Handspring, Inc., where he helped negotiate that company’s successful merger with Palm Computing. In addition, Bill has served as Chief Financial Officer for successful private companies including SnapTrack, Inc, a provider of location-based technology and Tropos Networks, a leading provider of Wi-Fi mesh networking. Previously, Bill held senior finance and investor relations positions at 3Com, and Apple. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Eckart Walther
SVP and GM of LiveWork
As SVP and GM of LiveWork, Eckart drives the strategic initiatives around virtual work in the LiveOps community. Eckart joined LiveOps from Yahoo!, where he was head of products for Yahoo! Search and was responsible for Yahoo!'s web, multi-media, and social search products including Yahoo! Answers and Del.icio.us. In previous roles, Eckart served as a key member of the Tellme and Netscape teams, and held positions in artificial intelligence research at Stanford University and GE Corporate Research. Eckart has a Bachelors and Masters degree in computer systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, is a co-author of the original RSS and Media RSS standards, and holds 11 patents.
